Terms

Last updated 25 September 2026.

By making an account or using Natteroo you agree to what is below.

What Natteroo is

Classroom speaking games and printable resources for teachers. Some of it is free. Some of it may be paid for later, and if that happens you will be told before anything changes for you.

Your account

One account, one person — please do not share a login around a staffroom. Keep your password to yourself. Tell us at hello@natteroo.com if you think someone else has got into your account. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and Natteroo accounts are for adults, not children.

What you put in

The picture sets and photographs you upload stay yours. You give us permission to store and display them for the purpose of running your lessons, and — if you publish a set — for the purpose of sharing it with other teachers as described below. Nothing else. Do not upload anything you do not have the right to use, anything unlawful, or anything unsuitable for a classroom. We can remove material that breaks this, and we will tell you why.

Publishing a set to other teachers

Publishing is a choice you make, set by set, and nothing is ever published without you doing it. When you publish a card deck or a dictation, you are putting it in a library that every other teacher with an account can search, use and copy, and you are giving them permission to do so, free, for their own teaching. Do not publish anything you would not want other teachers to have: not a set you do not hold the rights to, and not a photograph you would rather keep to your own classroom.

You can unpublish at any time, which takes the set out of the library. Copies other teachers have already saved stay with them.

A set you keep unpublished stays yours alone. We will never publish your work for you, and we will not put your name on a set you did publish — the library shows the set, not the teacher.

What we put in

The games, the site, the built-in picture sets and the printable sheets are ours. Print the sheets, photocopy them for your own classes, use them for as long as you like. Do not sell them, and do not pass them off as your own.

Game ideas

Ideas sent through Request a Game are given freely. Natteroo may use them, change them, or not use them, without payment, credit or any other obligation. Any game Natteroo builds, including one based on a teacher's idea, belongs to Natteroo.

Availability

Natteroo is a young service built by one teacher. It may be unavailable, it may change, and parts of it are still being made. We do not promise it will be working at the exact moment you need it, so do not make it the only plan for a lesson you cannot teach without.

If something goes wrong

We provide the site as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost lesson time, lost work or indirect losses. Nothing here limits liability for anything that cannot legally be limited.

Ending it

You can delete your account whenever you like. We can close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why. If we close the service, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to take your sets with you.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
