About Natteroo

Natteroo is made by an EAL teacher with many years in the classroom, teaching English to children who are learning it.

It grew out of a handful of speaking games that work again and again with real classes, built so a teacher can plan them into a lesson in minutes and children find them easy to pick up and genuinely enjoy.

Privacy

Teachers sign in with an email address and a password; that is the only personal data the site asks a teacher for, and it is used to sign you in, to send you one link to confirm the address, and, if you ask, to send a password-reset link. If you leave your email on the front page to hear when the beta opens, it is kept for that one email and nothing else, and an address that is never confirmed is deleted after thirty days. Children never make an account: they join a game with a code and a first name, which is kept only for that lesson. Nothing is sold or shared, and there is no advertising. Pictures a teacher uploads stay in that teacher’s own library.
